Chapter Seventeen

VADA

Spending time with Special had a nigga cheesing from ear to ear. I was feeling her, and eventually I was going to make her mine. The way we connected on a personal level, it was almost like we been knowing each other for years. To be honest, I didn’t want the night to end. For the entire night, all I thought about was Special. I’m sure she was thinking about me too. I know I just met Special a couple of weeks ago but I can see myself spending the rest of my life with her. The way we vibed when we are together; everything just seems so perfect. The way Special looked into my eyes when I would finish her sentence before she said it, I could tell that Special was shocked by the type of a man that I am. I could also tell Special ex is a weak ass man and he wasn’t treating her appropriately. From the look in Special eyes, I could tell that she was tormented and afraid of being hurt again. One thing for sure and two things for certain, Special was definitely in the right man’s hands. My goal is never to hurt my woman; I want to ensure she is happy, protected, and loved correctly. I treat my woman with the upmost respect and I would never let no one hurt her. That’s what I don’t understand about men. They will have a good woman that treated them right, then go out here and cheat with someone who has fucked the whole hood. I’m not saying that I never had my dog days with women because I have, but as you mature you realize it’s about more than just some pussy. Like I said before, I wanted to be married and start a family but I just want to make sure it’s with the right one. I thought Chocolate was the right one but as you can see, she’s all for herself. Don’t get me wrong I loved Chocolate; I just didn’t love the work she did. Although I did meet Chocolate as a dancer, I didn’t know she wanted to retire as one. I thought maybe one day she would want to grow and become a better person but that didn’t happen. Now, Chocolate sees I’m on my grown man shit. She wants to act crazy. I know the only reason Chocolate come over here is to make sure I’m not messing with anyone else. Chocolate is very jealous and that shit gets on my nerves.

I grabbed my phone off the bed beside me so I could send Special a good morning message. A grin went across my face when I saw Special had already texted me. I responded back to her then got myself together. After I was done, I had flowers and lunch delivered to Special’s job.

“How are you feeling Grandma?” I asked, soon as I walked in.

“I can’t complain. I will feel even better if that sexy doctor was taking care of me.
